PA Solar Home Tests

Not being one who rushes into things(snort! yeah, right!), I did however assemble some stuff for testing purposes. Using a BB 12v 7ah SLA battery, an ICP Global Batterysaver PhotoVoltaic Panel, and a www.cirkits.com charge controller, I kept a 13w cf desklamp lit for 45 minutes a night, for several nights. In December. Granted, not a thorough and exhuastive test, but adequate enough to show me a solar home was worth pursuing.

I currently have an analog wristwatch attached to a garden light solar cap (~3v 46ma) measuring the amount of light daily. To do this, I just reset to 12:00 after dark, after recording the current time. I'll post the results at a later time.
